The Zao Echo Line, which leads to Zao’s Okama crater lake, is closed in winter due to heavy snowfall.

The 2022 opening will be on April 22 (Fri.) at 11:00, but there is a tour where you can go to see the Okama crater lake a little earlier before the opening.

Walk on the remaining snow from Zao Katta Parking Lot and tour the Okama crater lake.

Then, at Zao Liza Restaurant, eat green curry or special stone oven pizza inspired by Okama crater lake, and then enjoy spring parfait at Takahashi Fruitland in Kaminoyama City.

Another highlight of this tour is the snow walls of the Zao Echo Line.

Due to heavy snow this year, the height is over 10m.

Please take a look at the beautiful Okama crater lake that can only be seen now.
