- VISIT YAMAGATA
- Narageshuku district
Naragejuku on the Ushu Kaido road was a busy post town in the past.
There are old traditional houses with thatched roofs and stone arched bridges in this scenery that makes you feel the history of the district.
The biggest attraction of Naragejuku is that it retains its original appearance.
Come enjoy this natural scenery of ancient times where people live modern life.
There are two arched bridges over the Kaneyama River.
Usual megane (glasses) bridges have two arches, but here in Naragejuku there are two single-arch bridges, one upstream and one downstream.
