Kogenyu opened in July 2020 as Japan’s first recovery hot spring facility.

In addition to day-trip hot spring spas and full-scale saunas that the general public can casually visit, there are recovery facilities such as a changing bathing pool, relaxation rooms, and oxygen capsules for the purpose of recovering fatigue and function for athletes.
