Tendo City Art Museum

The Tendo City Museum of Art opened in 1990 as the first public museum in the prefecture.
There are a municipal library, a civic cultural center, and a central public hall in the vicinity, and it is familiar to the citizens as an art and cultural area.

It holds various exhibitions throughout the year, such as special exhibitions that showcase outstanding works of art from Japan and overseas, and collection exhibitions such as the Yoshino Gypsum Collection.
In addition, the hands-on museum, picture book original painting exhibition, civic work exhibition, and artist series exhibition created by Tendo have been well received.

In addition to the works of sculptor Yutaka Toyoda from Tendo City on display in the exhibition hall and rooftop, the works of Japanese-style painter Chuichi Konno and Western-style painter Kumagai Morikazu from Tendo City are on display. Is stored.
