In the precincts of Namerikawa Zenshoji Temple, there is a 130cm stone monument of Aida Sanzaemon Yasuaki, the highest-ranking mathematician.

Yasuaki, at that time, was displeased with the feudal nature of the Seki school of mathematics, and established a new school of simple mathematics, which he clarified through his own ideas, and it was known as one of the best schools of mathematics.

During this time he trained many disciples and was more of a mathematics educator than a mathematician.
