SORA MADO cafe 1387 is a café with a terrace located inside the Torikabuto Station at the top of the Zao Chuo Ropeway line in Zao Onsen.

As its name suggests (sora mado means “window to the sky”), the café is located at an altitude of 1,387 meters and guests can enjoy their meal while admiring the view from the large windows, making it a café that can be enjoyed all year round.

SORA MADO cafe 1387 offers around 50 different light meal options using local ingredients, including sandwiches made with famous croissants, Tsuyahime rice potage, and La France tart, allowing you to experience the charms of Yamagata!
