The Bussokuseki is a Buddha footprint stone found on the grounds of Horaiji Temple.

Buddha footprints are said to be imprints of the foot of Buddha and were originally revered as an object of faith before the Buddha statues.

Since the early modern period (Tokugawa period) in Japan, monks and commoners have had a strong faith.

In addition, there is a Dainichi monument that was moved about 900 years ago from Dainichido-mae of the Nanko Mansion, which was located across the street from the current Horaiji Temple.
