The main house and storehouse of the Saito family, known since the Kanbun era as landowners of Jurohata in the Shichiken district of Oe Town, were dismantled and moved to the side of the Chuo Community Center.
Inside the museum, there are many traditional tools and farming implements that recall the past, such as blue seaweed, lacquer wax, and sericulture, which were once popular crops.

The building was renovated and reopened in November 2007, and visitors can now tour the building and use the Japanese-style rooms.

In addition, set meals are served in the building since 2009. In addition to a variety of dishes using aoso (ramie), you can enjoy seasonal dishes using local vegetables in lacquerware that has been passed down in old houses.
