Orai Café
A small café located on the grounds of Oka Enri (formerly Kashiwakura Yoshi Writer’s House), a place for everyone.
You can also enjoy handmade sweets and dishes, and even pizza made using a pizza oven.
You can enjoy a relaxing time surrounded by the Oka Enzato Garden, which is home to over 200 types of plants all year round.
The Orai building was relocated from the center of Yamagata City. It was assembled from components and surrounded by a wooden deck.
The interior has been renovated and reborn as a café.
It can serve as a rest area for visitors who are strolling through the black-walled townscape or touring the former Kashiwakura residence, and as a casual café for the local community.
It has become a place where people can casually interact, so you can feel free to drop in and take a break.
We also accept reservations for pizza making experience using a pizza oven. (To make a reservation, please send a DM on Instagram.)
