1. Ski Resort Slopes & Courses

The Zao Onsen ski resort spreads over 305 ha, and there are 14 slopes and 12 courses.

There are various courses from beginner to advanced, and a variety of courses such as the snow monster course where you can glide while watching them and the Yokokura Wall with a maximum slope inclination of 38 degrees.

Since it is a vast ski resort, it is difficult to go around all the courses in just one day.
If you check the course in advance according to your level and purpose, you will enjoy the resort more.

Please come ski here many times to find your favorite slope.

2. Night ski

Night skiing for those who are not satisfied with daytime only.

4. Lift & ropeway ticket prices

1-day pass: Adult 5,000 yen
Children 2,500 yen

5. Advantageous days (lift & benefits)

・ A gift of gratitude

Purchases of a lift ticket for senior (60 years old and over) will come with a 200 yen voucher for coffee.

・ Children's Ski Day

Only for children under elementary school age, the one-day pass common to all mountains is 1,000 yen (usually 2,500 yen)!

It can also be used for night skiing.

6. Snow trekking

You can take a leisurely stroll at your own pace, so even those who are not confident in their physical strength can participate with peace of mind.

There are custom-made trekking tours to meet all needs, including winter viewing of the Okama crater lake.

Please enjoy the magnificent scenery unique to winter.

9. Zao Onsen

After all the activities please heal your tiredness at Zao Onsen.

Zao Onsen is said to have opened in 110 AD and is a hot spring area at the west foot of the 1900-year-old Zao mountain range.

The spring water is strongly acidic and effective against skin diseases. It is also called “Hime no Yu” (“The princess’s water”) because it has a whitening effect and is known as a hot spring for beautiful skin.

Other charms unique to Zao such as Igamochi rice cakes, Kokeshi dolls, Jingisukan grilled-lamb and the Sake Museum are waiting for you.

Zao is full of charm.

As well as skiing, you can take a walk in the hot spring town and enjoy its baths as Zao in winter is full of attractions.
