1. Koryuko Camping Ground

This camping ground that can be used free of charge is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Yamagata City.
Here you may encounter insects and wildlife.

It is a great place to have a good time while coexisting with Nature.

You can use the kitchen free of charge, and it is equipped with the basics such as a cooking area and a stove.

Here are the instructions to use the camping ground.

2. User guide

[Reservation method]
You can apply from “Activities” at the top of the “VISIT YAMAGATA” page.
You can also move to the reservation screen from “Detailed information” in “4. Plan information” in the text.

From 10:00 to 10:00 the next morning (up to 3 days and 2 nights per use, and up to twice a month only)

Until 17:00

July 12 ~ August 31 (night) & September 5, 12, 19, 20, 21 and 26 (night)

[Application period]
June 25 ~ September 22 (call directly for applications for September 23, 24 and 25)

[About facilites]
There is no electricity nor gas and no shower, bath, bedding, tableware, etc.
Please bring everything you need for your camp.
(Desktop stoves, wood, lamps, lights, etc.)

3. Preventing the spread of COVID-19

・Notes (Please be sure to read)

・The facility will be opened while limiting the number of groups using it to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

・The facility may be closed depending on the situation of new coronavirus infection.
In that case, we will not compensate for the loss due to reservation cancellation.

・Please cooperate by bringing a mask and disinfecting sheets, etc.
In addition, please wear a mask and maintain social distance when interacting with other groups.

・Do not use the camping ground if you have a cough, sneeze or fever on the day of use.
(You may be refused access).
Body temperature will be taken when you enter the venue on the day. Please refrain from entering if your temperature exceeds 37.5℃.

・Number of groups for 2020

・Cabin (6~8 guests): 1 group per day
・Bungalow (3~4 guests): Up to 3 groups per day
・Tent site: Up to 4 groups per day
* Up to 8 people per group

・About the other facilities

・One administration building
・Simple water supply (chlorine sterilization only)
・One kitchen ※ There is a counter. Up to 4 groups can use it simultaneously
・One rice cooking hut * Up to 5 groups can use it simultaneously
・Two temporary toilets
・One parking lot (not for camping cars)

4. Plan information

・Bungalow accommodation plan 1 (up to 4 guests)

The bungalows are slightly smaller than the cabin.
You can select and book your favorite bungalow between Haryu and Komakusa (lakeside).

Recommended for camping with a small number of people.
You may be able to have a wonderful night looking at the starry sky when the weather is nice.

・With pets♪ Bungalow accommodation plan 2 (up to 5 guests)

Pets will surely be pleased to spend a day in nature!
It is a “bungalow where one group can stay with pets” that started last year.

・Cabin accommodation plan (6~8 guests)

This is the largest cabin on the campsite and is recommended for groups or families.

5. Application process

When making a preliminary reservation through VISIT YAMAGATA make sure to reply to the “reservation confirmation email” sent to you from the Yamagata City Tourism Strategy Division later.
Please be aware that the reservation will not be completed until you receive a “reservation complete” notice from VISIT YAMAGATA.

Applications will be processed as follows.

*If you do not receive an email from the Tourism Strategy Division by noon the day after the application date on This Site (the weekday immediately after Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays the next day), please contact the Tourism Strategy Division by 17:00.

Please note that your reservation will be canceled if you do not contact back.

If you made a tentative reservation at VISIT YAMAGATA but did not receive an email from Yamagata City Tourism Strategy Division by noon the next day (or just after weekday), please contact us by phone.
