Dohara-taki Falls

  • img

Yuza Town has abundant water that springs out everywhere.

The name of the Dohara-taki comes from the fact that the waterfalls (“taki”) come “straight from the belly” (“doppara”) of Mt. Chokai.

A large number of people with big tanks and plastic bottles gather on weekends all year round.

The waterfall is less than 5 minutes from the road.
There is a shrine in the cedar forest and two waterfalls on each its side.

It is said that water from the waterfall on the left matches cold coffee, and the one on the right Japanese tea.

It might be interesting to compare drinking them.

* Water from the waterfalls is non-sterilized as it comes from a natural spring. Please be careful when drinking it.
