Within the Kosenji Temple located on the hillside of the mountains in the upper part of Kaminoyama there are old trees with an estimated age of 200 years.
These famous trees show a beautiful coronal shape from any angle and were designated as a natural monument of the city in 1966.
The Edo Higan cherry blossoms at the nearby Kumano Shrine also make for a beautiful sight.
