Oji worship is a belief that a deity appears in the form of a precious infant, and it seems that there are many cases where it is enshrined along with the Kumano Gongen.

In this precinct, there is a stone lantern carved with a ubagami figure.

This shrine was the first step for mountain worshipers going to mounts of the east, but as women were forbidden to enter such mountain trails, it is believed that they instead prayed at the stone lantern.
