Culture History
Fudotaki Falls (height 15m) is located at the 4th station from the trailhead going up to Zao.
It is said that long ago, when Minamoto-no-Yoshiie was marching to fight against Abe Sadato, a big storm appeared near the waterfalls. Minamoto-no-Yoshiie then prayed to Fudo Myo (Acalanātha) and the storm suddently cleared. Fudoson was then enshrined here.
