Weeping cherry trees bloom over 1.4 km on both banks of the Kuratsu River that flows to the south of Tendo City Hall.

Ideal as a walk course from Tendo Onsen, which is right next door. When the cherry trees are in full bloom you can the shidare-sakura weeping cherry trees that are illuminated for about 750 meters.

The weeping cherry trees are lit in the evening in usually late April.

Recommended points

You can thoroughly enjoy the fantastic shidare-sakura row of weeping cherry trees illuminated by the light.
There will be lots of elegant events held with a background of shidare-sakura, including the traditional “Mukasari procession”! There are many food stalls at the Chuo Park to make your cherry blossom viewing experience delicious!
