The Kaneyama Festival sees gorgeous floats depicting famous scenes from Kabuki and historical themes parade through the town.

It is said that it originally began as a festival of Hachiman Shrine, with a portable shrine procession held by parishioners on August 15th.

Additionally, on the final day, August 16 (Sat.), there will be a summer fireworks display, creating a spectacular display of large flowers in the evening over Kaneyama.

*Starting this year, the outdoor stalls will be set up on August 14 (Thu.) and 15 (Fri.).
