Spring Summer Autumn

I went to Wakuwaku Farm in the Maemori Kogen highlands of Mogami Town, in the northern inland area of Yamagata Prefecture, which borders Miyagi Prefecture.
It is frequented by people from all over the prefecture as well as outside the prefecture, and apparently many local families visit during events.
It’s a popular spot where you can interact with animals and enjoy a variety of activities!

A magnificent view awaited us from the entrance.
The clear air feels so good!
We climb up the gentle tree-lined slope.
Of course, you can drive to the vicinity of the facility, so don’t worry (^^)

The contrast between the blue sky and the green mountains is truly beautiful!
I want to spend some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
I would love for people like that to come.
1. Horseback riding experience
First, we arrived at the horse riding corner, the most popular spot at Maemori Kogen.
It seems that there are very few spots in Yamagata where you can enjoy a horse riding experience.

The horse immediately greeted us.
It was very friendly and even looked at me when I got close!

This is where you check in.

On this day, a parent and child came from Sakata to try out horse riding.

Seeing the horses up close and personal was overwhelming – they were so big!
However, the staff will provide you with detailed support, so even beginners can easily ride horses.
The horses at Maemori Kogen are very gentle.
So, if you’re feeling a bit scared, don’t worry!

The horses move slowly according to the staff’s instructions.
The horse’s name is Kiss-kun, and it has appeared on television many times, including in historical dramas and historical dramas.
Watching it, it was clear that it was a very well behaved one.
When you actually ride a horse, you can feel the horse’s breathing and the vibrations of its body directly, which gives you an indescribable sense of fulfillment.

The white horse is Kamuro.
Horseback riding in this magnificent setting is a fantastic experience.
The horse trekking course goes all around the large grounds, so you can enjoy the scenery to the fullest.
Children as young as 3 years old can ride horses if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Most of the customers are inexperienced, so if you’re even a little bit interested, give it a try!

There was also a profile of the horse!
Come find your favorite horse!
