Toko Sake Brewery Museum

The Toko Sake Brewery Museum is located in Yonezawa City, an area rich in nature at the foot of the Azuma mountain range.

Kojima So’s main shop, known as “Toko,” was founded in 1597 as the official sake shop for the Uesugi clan of the Yonezawa domain.

At the brewery’s store attached to the museum, in addition to free tastings, you can also sample high-quality sake that you would normally not have access to, as well as sake that has won awards at contests, all at reasonable prices.

It’s fun to try and find your favorite one.
