This convenient, paid luggage storage service is located on the second floor of Hotel Metropolitan Yamagata, directly connected to the east exit of JR Yamagata Station, and moved to its current location in July 2024.
In addition to suitcases and bags, you can also leave large items that do not fit in coin lockers, such as carry-on bags, strollers, skis, snowboards, etc., so you can enjoy sightseeing in Yamagata City and Zao Onsen empty-handed.
