In 1356, when Kaneyori Shiba stayed overnight in Sekizawa (Sekine village) on his way to Yamagata, an old woman appeared and said, “We will stay in this land for a long time, and the Inari Daimyojin, who is responsible for the fulfillment of good harvest and national security, does not have a shrine yet. It should be built.” And then she disappeared. Although it was not build it as at that time, it was done later during the Tokugawa period at an unknown date.
