・Oishida Festival "Mogami River Fireworks Display"

Large fireworks, mainly 10-gou fireworks, as well as creative fireworks that combine music and light to create a fantastical display will be launched.

The climax of the event will be the launch of Japan’s largest town fireworks, “No. 20 (2 shakudama),” which contains the thoughts and wishes of the Oishida Town residents, bringing the event to a spectacular finale.

The Restoration Festival takes place on the previous day, the 15th (Thursday), with dance groups from inside and outside the prefecture gathering in front of JR Oishida Station, creating a lively atmosphere.

・Nishikawa Summer Festival of Gratitude

Nishikawa Town is celebrating its 70th anniversary since becoming a town.

To celebrate this important milestone together with everyone who has supported Nishikawa up until now, Nishikawa will be reviving its fireworks festival, which has not been held in a long time!

At the newly opened Nishikawa Innovation Hub TRAS, local artisans’ works will be available for purchase and visitors will be able to experience making them, while the Aibe Community Center will host traditional performing arts and other performances by local residents and those in the related community.
